Last Year was the 7th time that we have run our exhibition from the Bassingbourn Village College, and we must mention the great assistance given to us by the staff in making this a very successful day.
Over 700 Adults came to see us!
As mentioned on our “Home” page, this year we are holding our exhibition on the 16th November from 10:00am till 4pm.
The pedestrian entrance to our exhibition is adjacent to the visitor’s car park, and the entire exhibition is all on one level - no stairs or ramps to negotiate.
Refreshments will be available - Tea, Coffee & other drinks; and we will have cakes and biscuits too.
The free “Historic Bus” shuttle between Royston Bus & Train Stations and the exhibition will again be running to enable some of our visitors to leave their cars at home.
The Thameslink rail service between Cambridge and the south coast now stops at Royston, and the Cambridgeshire Guided Bus route ‘A’ from St Ives makes a stop at Royston Bus Station, so if you are thinking of coming from a bit further away…
The Royston Model Engineering Society and their outdoor track (and rolling stock to give rides) will be attending. Last year they also brought a scale traction engine & carriage.
We have uploaded some of the pictures of the day HERE.
As always, please use our contact page if you want to contact us to make any enquiries or comments about the day.
